Terms of Service for Vocal Services
Guidelines
Can be requested:
- Singing
- Rap
- Speaking (only for musical purposes)
- Almost any genre
- Profanity
- Suggestive language, themes
Can not be requested:
- Screamo, distorted singing
- Political or offensive language, themes
- Any wording that I deem harmful or inappropriate
- Excessively sexual themes
Rules & Terms
Vocalist’s name must be included in all relevant credits. Song/post title inclusion is optional.
For Vocaloid vocals, “Hyourin” or “氷輪” must be credited as tuner.
By default, you may distribute the finished mix on any platform as long as you do not earn money from it.
Clients who paid for commercial use, or have agreed to and set up revenue-share, may distribute the finished mix commercially.
For corporations, separate pricing rules apply.
Responsibility for the quality of the finished mix goes to the mixer.
If in the distributed mix, I notice that the vocals have been ruined, credits to my name should be removed, and you will be additionally charged 50% of the original price.
If you break any of the rules above, you lose all rights to the commissioned audio and you will not be allowed to commission me in the future.
I will not hold onto the files after the commission ends. It is your own responsibility if you lose them.
I may promote the finished product on social media, and I retain the right to refer to it as a sample of my work in the future.
Progress & Revisions
Project details will be discussed first. Themes, mood, emotional range, etc. should be mentioned here.
Price is agreed upon, after which full payment is transferred to me.
- In the case of a recording, you can opt for a voice call through Discord. Otherwise I will record the desired parts to the best of my ability, and you will be sent the file(s) for review. If there are any changes you want me to make, you can request for them at this stage. If I can not achieve the desired result after 1 round of revisions, the project will be dropped. Refunds will not be issued, and additional costs will not be applied.
- In the case of a Vocaloid tuning commission, you will be sent the tuned files once they are done. Upon request, I can send you a preview of the timed vocals, but you must understand that it will not resemble the sound of the final result, and it will strictly only serve as a reference for timing. Once you have received the tuned files, you may request a maximum of 2 rounds of revisions. Further changes will come at a cost proportional to the scale of the change.
For Vocaloid tuning commissions, the used vocal can still be changed before tuning begins. After tuning, it can be changed for a fee of 10$ per minute of vocal parts.
The same tuning can be previewed through different voices for no extra cost, if requested.
It is up to the client to decide whether they wish to use the vocals they have received.
Payments
Payment:
- Payment will happen through Paypal, after mutual agreement on prices and project details.
Refunds:
- Clients can not request a refund after progress has been made.
- If I become unable to finish the recording or tuning, you will be informed, and I will send the full price back to you.

You may make slight changes to melodies or lyrics after my work is considered done, but I may additionally charge you 50% of the original price if you alter it to a point where I am unable to call it my own work. In these cases credits to my name should be removed.
If you break any of the rules above, you lose all rights to the commissioned audio and you will not be allowed to commission me in the future.

Progress & Revisions
The process starts with a conversation about the client’s vision for the song. What kind of themes they want conveyed, words or phrases to include, a story to be told if there is one, etc.
Price is agreed upon, after which full payment is transferred to me.
For both melody and lyrics, you will be presented with sections as soon as they are created. You can then decide whether my approach is appropriate or I should adjust some aspects to fit your vision better.
Clients can ask for melody revisions at most 5 times for each different section. Further revisions will come at an extra cost.
3 rounds of revisions are accepted for lyrics sections. Further revisions will come at an extra cost.
The client can freely decide whether they wish to use the melody and/or lyrics created by me, once the commission is finished.
